Nora Tourky is an American/Egyptian marketing and commercial strategy leader, and founder of Norastar, with over 16 years of experience shaping and scaling brands across the Middle East and beyond.
Having spent more than 25 years in the UAE, she brings a deep, nuanced understanding of regional consumers—how they think, what drives them, and how their behaviors differ across markets, channels, and cultures.
She began her career at 20 with Nissan Middle East before moving into FMCG with Johnson & Johnson, where she spent 12 years building her expertise across the full brand lifecycle—from graduate trainee to senior marketing leadership. During this time, she led portfolio strategy, brand building, and commercial growth across diverse categories, developing a strong foundation in disciplined, data-driven marketing.
Nora later transitioned into retail with Alshaya Group, leading marketing and strategy for brands such as Bath & Body Works and Boots across MENA. There, she drove large-scale campaigns, localized global launches for regional relevance, and built customer acquisition and loyalty strategies that delivered sustained growth in highly competitive markets.
Most recently, she has worked across multi-brand portfolios including Flormar and House of Soap, operating closer to the founder and business level—shaping strategy, accelerating growth, and supporting the expansion of regional brands into scalable, globally relevant businesses.
